Willow is a purebred Nigerian Dwarf and Latte is her daughter (also purebred Nigerian Dwarf) that was born February 14, 2025. Willow had triplets this year. Two bucklings and a doeling (Latte). The bucklings were sold as wethers to be pets at a new home and we are raising Latte to be one of our milkers.

Willow is a decent milk producer even though she is a Nigerian Dwarf. When she is at her peak in making milk, we get almost a half-gallon a day from her which is amazing considering her size. Willow is a chocolate, and her daughter is a chamoisee in color. They are both polled which means they naturally do not have horns and that is a plus for our homestead because I really dislike the disbudding process. It is important for our herd to not have horns, for both the safety of our children and the goats. It's not a pretty sight to have a goat with a torn udder because another goat's horn snagged it!! You can also see they both have blue eyes.

These two girls are very sweet and love attention and definitely a homestead favorite!
