Meet Dunkle

This week I would like to introduce you to our standard Nubian, Dunkle. Dunkle came to our farm last year from an organic farm. Her owner unfortunately got arthritis in her hands and could no longer milk her. Dunkle is an ADGA registered purebred and this year we had her bred to a Kiko (meat goat). Dunkle gave birth to a single buckling this year whom we named Donut. He has been castrated and will be raised for meat for our family. Dunkle is sweet and great on the milk stand. She provides our family with almost a gallon of milk a day. She is an attentive mama and gets along with all the goats here on our homestead.
